The Walk for Hunger is an annual tradition and a rite of spring in Massachusetts! Join 40,000 caring friends and neighbors and raise money for those struggling to make ends meet.
Walkers are invited to walk all or just part of the 20-mile route. Not interested in walking? Volunteers are needed throughout the route to help with a variety of jobs to keep Walkers safe and happy.
There is no registration fee and no fundraising minimum, but all Walkers and Volunteers are encouraged to raise as much as they can to help our neighbors in need. Heart & Sole participants are a special group of Walkers and Volunteers who pledge to raise at least $500 each to help those in need.
At the 2010 Walk for Hunger last year, 42,000 people came together and raised $3.8 million for hungry people in Massachusetts. Over 1,000 religious organizations, as well as 1,200 corporate teams, 1,200 schools, and 700 friends and family groups participated. Read more about last year's event, and join us this year!
I hope you can join us! Whether you're registered with us as a group or registered by yourself, I hope you can join this great cause!
