Okay, 1st night and not everyone is in town, but that doesn't mean WE cannot start having a little fun.

We'll start with the infamous Hurricane Drink at Pat O'Brien's, have dinner at Yo Mama’s Bar & Grill, then get a night cap at the locals' bar Boondock's. Feel free to come to one or all the stops.

Tentative Shedule:
5:30-6:30: Pat O'Briens
6:45 -8:45: Dinner
9:00 - 9:30: Boondocks

BTW, did you know that Pat O'Brien's is where the Hurricane drink originated?
"In the mid 1940's, Pat O'Brien's Bar propelled when the Hurricane Drink was created. At that time, there was short supply of liquor such as whiskey, bourbon and scotch. There was, however, access to rum coming up the river. Bar owners were forced to buy large quantities of rum, 50 cases or so, in order to purchase other liquor. Through trial and error, they came up with a drink that everyone loved! Pat O'Brien paired it up with a glass shaped like a Hurricane lamp and the drink was perfected!"

With that being said, we HAVE to at least have one while we are here! I think this is a great way to enjoy the night before the official Celebration begins.
