Here's a recap from the P-G.

Bill, Victoria, and I met up and listened to the presentation at Sandcastle celebrating the "completion" of the GAP to the Point. There were said to be 1,000 people there to bike to the Point. This included a team that brought a US flag from Washington D.C. in TWO DAYS by bike. Geez you guys. Way to ride!
We got into line and biked slowly to the Point. There was a flag-raising ceremony there, and the unveiling of a plaque. Then we left the group and had felafel. Victoria left to go have more fun and we enjoyed a quick ride back to the South Side. You really missed it if you weren't there!
