MEETinCELEBRATION 2018 - Nashville (September 27-30, 2018):
What a great time we had in Nashville. Some of our friends arrived on Wednesday while the majority arrived on Thursday. I heard several people ask, "What's there to do in Nashville?" Well, coming from one of those who asked, I can honestly answer, there is A LOT to do in Nashville. The greatest part is country fan or not, fun was had by all.
The first day started out with some coming in from Memphis while some (me) headed to the Jack Daniels Distillery. We got together in the evening for drinks. Some friend ran into each other on Thursday but most got together at the Official Meet n Greet. The restaurant gave us a roof top of the restaurant. We had live music and basically our own bartender.
Some went off to a burlesque show while others went off to find ghosts. A handful of friends got together afterwards at the Tequila Cowboy bar for music and more fun.
Friday, some of the early birds went to the Grand Ole Opry and then a larger group met on a riverboat. The Riverboat was fun because there was fun music and yummy food. After the entertainment we went upstairs to listen to more music and we started our own dance party. I think people enjoyed our silliness.
After the tour, some went to Cooter's (Dukes of Hazzard museum) while others enjoyed other parts of Nashville.
In the evening a group got together for line dancing, then dinner, then a pub crawl!
Saturday was full of many activities. There were museums, music, and brewery crawls. In the evening, the group got together for karaoke. It came in shifts. The early birds, the next shift, and the night owls (me!). There was a long wait for karaoke but all who wanted to sing got to sing. Yay!
The next day a large group got together to say goodbye at breakfast (hey, Mo, where were you?). The food was good and it was nice to see our friends one final time before leaving.
There were several that stayed longer on Sunday and even some who stayed a day or two longer.
Regardless of which activity everyone went to, fun was had by all!
Thank you, everyone, for making this Celebration INCREDIBLE! You never let us down!
Now, on to 2019!
